Jennifer Lawrence's Style Revival
By Madison Bulloch
This A-list actress is known for her riveting performances in Hunger Games, Red Sparrow, Passengers, Silver Linings Playbook, and her latest flick No Hard Feelings. Jennifer Lawrence has always been one of the most likable and relatable celebrities. This reflects into every character she portrays and her effortless ‘girl next door’ look. However while promoting her new film No Hard Feelings Lawrence has taken the fashion community by surprise. Celebrity Stylist Jamie Mizrahi deserves some credit for taking Jennifer Lawrence’s style to the next level. From ‘girl next door’ to absolute trendsetter, let’s break down some of her latest moments.
On June 20th, 2023 in NYC for the No Hard Feelings premiere, Jennifer awed in a white, one-shoulder Dior Pre-Fall 2023 collection gown. Accessorized with chunky gold hoops and smokey eyes. At the London premiere on June 12th, she owned the red carpet in a sheer black floral-beaded Christian Dior number paired with matching gloves and smokey glam. The details of this gown can’t be ignored. The black bandeau under the delicate sheer was a tasteful, yet modest take on the barely-there trend that’s taking red carpets by storm.
Lawrence turns heads at premieres, of course, but also on the streets of New York City as of late. Recently, she was spotted in a belted white Alaïa dress, accessorized with Alaïa sunglasses and black Manolo Blahnik kitten heels. She also recently pulled off a Y2K throwback (wearing pants layered with a dress) with an ensemble by The Row. In our opinion, showcasing one of the best revivals of this trend to date. Her style is contemporary and sexy, yet still remains true to her laidback style that made her so relatable in the first place.
