Fête Impériale is what you get when you mix 19th century Paris and the vibrant 80s. In 2015, Laura Gauthier Petit announced the brand’s start on the walls of the Capital and from there, she became a designer to watch in Paris. Fête Impériale derives all designs from art and nature, including the baroque architecture of Paris, Belle Époque, bold 80s nightlife, and the power women hold. The “anti-academic” style is apparent in her leatherwear and thick cotton dresses. She draws inspiration from the Parisian working class of women like Liane de Pougy and artists like Madonna who came from humble beginnings. Fête Impériale celebrates femininity with a rebellious spirit rich in culture and history resonating with all who wear her pieces today.
