The idea behind the Australian-based Acler brand stemmed from co-designers Kathryn Forth and Julia Ritorto’s common goal of rebelling against “cookie-cutter digital design” by "bringing the design process back to its fundamentally tactile roots." Each Acler piece is developed over the course of 12 months – where it is subtly redrafted and redraped – allowing the design to adhere to its own natural form. The final result? A meticulously constructed piece with an organic sculptural shape, as well as a refined sense of minimalism.
