Bio

Blumarine has made quite a splash in the world of fashion and is coming back in a big way! Established in 1977, Italian fashion label Blumarine was founded by Anna Molinari and her late husband Gianpaolo Tarabini. The name “Blumarine” was inspired by the couple's favorite color and their love of the sea, particularly the waters of the gorgeous island of Capri, where the idea for their company originated! Often referred to as the ‘Queen of Roses’ herself, Molinari makes a point to show her appreciation for floral blooms through the label’s feminine styles – including dreamy dresses and romantic gowns (all Made in Italy, of course!) – with animal print also serving as a strong signature of the brand. More recently, the label was taken over by young designer Nicola Brognano, who has an impressive repertoire of experiences ranging from Giambattista Valli to Dolce & Gabbana. He has worked hard to revamp the bold DNA of Blumarine, making an impressive debut with the fall 2021 collection, which paid tribute to the early ‘00s.
