Designer Bio

Marni is a luxury fashion brand founded in Milan in 1994 by Switzerland-born designer Consuelo Castiglioni. The current Creative Director, Francesco Risso, has followed Castiglioni’s lead, as he has incorporated his own unique flair when designing Marni’s collections, particularly when mixing prints and shapes (think: playful patterns + slouchy silhouettes). These collections include high-fashion ready-to-wear for women, men and kids, handbags, shoes, accessories, and eyewear. The innovative, whimsical brand leaves room for the imagination to experiment and explore a range of possibilities when it comes to fashion. In fact, Marni’s quirky elegance garners both respect and curiosity, as its eccentric designs and alluring aesthetics are what set the brand apart and into a world of its own visual language of graphic rigor.
